Safety

if the worst comes to the worst

Our in-house transport tests are an important part of the project workflow. They enable us to check for our customers whether the packaged products are suitable for parcel shipping system consignments. This can significantly reduce or completely prevent transport losses. We test according to the International Safe Transit Association Standards (ISTA) with drop tests as the core element. In this case, drop tests are performed with fixed heights and orientation points. These tests are an essential part of tooling development and for our customers they form the basis for having their pre-packaged products tested and certified at appropriately certified laboratories.

Other tests which we carry out in-house are standardized test methods, such as edge crush strength, bursting strength, puncture test, compression and stacking tests. These tests ensure that, from the paper raw material to the grade used, the finished packaging and the loaded pallet, the stability of the packaging is guaranteed and each product is securely protected.
